ARCCO is an arts service organization established to promote the growth and development of artist directed organizations engaged in contemporary cultural practice, located within the province of Ontario, Canada. Our core membership includes established artist-run centres that have historically received public support. We also aspire to serve the needs of other organizations and collectives, whether or not they are incorporated, engaged in artist-directed activity. This commitment is reflected in our varying membership categories.

ARCCO’s membership is constantly growing and currently includes of over 100 organizations including artist-run centres, media arts centres, artist-run collectives, arts service organizations and community non-profit art organizations. Members are located in over 30 municipalities in six regions of Ontario and one region of Quebec. This covers a span of 2,000 kilometers, two official languages and numerous diverse cultures.

How to Join
Membership is open to all organizations who are interested in becoming part of Ontario’s artist-run centre network and participating in our valuable services. Organizations wishing to become part of ARCCO should contact our Membership Coordinator for assistance prior to applying. Applicants should include information about the nature of their organization so that ARCCO may determine which level of membership is most appropriate for them.
